Rejuvena Beauty Therapy
Rejuvena Beauty Therapy Limited have worked closely with Networks.NZ since the business was bought in 2014. Networks.NZ has helped us build a website that is aesthetically pleasing on both desktop and phone. They also have built the back end of the website, so customers can book services or buy products. Networks.NZ created a live link between the website, the accounting system and the booking operating system we use in the clinic, so everything is synced and easy to manage. Networks.NZ are one of the key reasons on why our business is growing, using their expert skills in google analytics, they were able to capitalise on the key words we used on our website, we are now one of the first searched beauty clinics in Auckland with new business coming in frequently. In recent years, Networks.NZ have helped with procurement and account managing, by doing our daily account reconciliations and balancing the books. This has freed up more time for us to do what we are best at, which is attending to our customers. Networks.nz have many qualities, their patience, their perseverance and their eye for detail has made a positive impact on my business and would recommend using their services.
SICPA
In my role as General Manager of Sicpa New Zealand Ltd we engaged with Mike to manage our networks as well as work on a number of customer specific initiatives.
Some of the projects were:
- Installing Mail Rules, a software Mike developed to send large files via e-mail at a time when this was impossible.
- Set up data communication between our labs and an international flexible packaging company.
- This project improved cost reduction for both ourselves and our customer in excess of $1,000,000 pa collectively.
- Our customer was awarded as being the best international packaging supplier by a Major US confectionery manufacturer as a result of this project.
- We also secured more business supplying this technology to their Cigarette packaging business.
- Installation of Cognos data reporting software to extract data from our BPCS platform to make our international management reporting more effective.
- Set-up mobile laptops so our tech service team had remote access to our network.
- This gave our technicians access to our formulas and a unique Access database that could calculate ink volumes on cans so there was no downtime due to order volumes being underestimated by the Can company staff and also reduce excess consignment stock on site.
Also, Mike developed a remote-control platform for another can customer whereby the plant manager could view and control the production line remotely live as well as see his warehouse goods & volumes.
We had a relationship with Mike for more than 10 years, and I now use Networks to manage my own businesses website as Mike and I have kept in contact all this time, in fact its been close to a 30year relationship.
Mike’s ability to understand complex business challenges and develop unique solutions to ensure all parties security and data integrity was paramount in our ability to add such enormous value-added services to what would be considered a commodity product (i.e: Printing Ink) a major asset in our business growth.
Please Note: SICPA is a Swiss based Security Inks manufacturer for Bank Notes (producing over 100 Billion banknotes in 90 countries) & Security documents like Passports, Government Bonds etc. At the time they were also one of the top 10 global suppliers of printing ink to the commercial & packaging sector.
Masset Glencross
Masset-Glencross have been enthusiastic users of the SaSperBox Solution. We migrated all our IT onto the SaSperBox service and have been enjoying the amazing Mobility benefits ever since. The added benefit of the increased security provided by having our servers and information located in a secure Datacentre was further bought into perspective when our premises were burgled. All of our proprietary applications and accounting systems are able to be run on SaSperBox providing an integrated solution used for everything we do.
Electronic filing was becoming an issue for us at Masset-Glencross. We needed to have all our paper documents available online and accessible from anywhere when required. SaSperBox allows us to receive faxes and scanned documents directly to our email accounts which we access from anywhere in the world. The introduction of this service into our company has made our staff highly mobile and able to work from anywhere at any time. Now I can directly connect back into our systems from my holiday home, the pacific islands, or the other side of the world. All our documents, emails, and other applications are available to me, just as if I was in the office. If I connect to a printer in my remote location, I can print directly from my desktop!
In March 2011 our offices were burgled after hours one weekend. One of the first thoughts which went through my mind was how much of a disaster it would have been if our servers had been destroyed or stolen during the burglary. It was a major relief when I realised that all our data and systems were now housed in a secure Data Centre which keeps them safe from these types of intrusions. The Data Centre our server is in has multiple security measures including, 24/7 monitoring, video surveillance, and Biometric access. We couldn’t feel more secure knowing our server and data are locked away and, in a disaster, they are connected to an uninterruptable power supply and backup generator.
We were able to transfer all our existing IT applications over to SaSperBox in one go. This included all our proprietary software which we have been using for over 10 years. Originally, we had our Accounting and our custom freight management applications loaded onto a computer in our office. This meant we could only access these systems when in the office. Now that we have everything running on SaSperBox, we have the same virtual desktop accessible from anywhere in the world allowing access to all our applications, where ever we might be.
Masset-Glencross staff are really enjoying the many mobility benefits and opportunities presented to us using SaSperBox which we never had previously. Our Security measures have been increased exponentially and we now feel more prepared for unknown events such as a natural disaster. The ability to run all our applications on SaSperBox, including our own proprietary software and accounting package, means everything is located on the one virtual desktop for all users. This means the integration between all our systems is safer, more robust, and fast.
MailRules
MailRules has Customers in around 40 countries. MailRules has developers who work in multiple continents and time zones. SaSperBox allows MailRules to manage multiple servers with high security audibility.
The Level of monitoring I am able to achieve means time-sheets are no longer needed.
We are able to create a global overview of what stage each of our projects is at, and exactly what an employee has been working on via a video replay system.
SaSperBox gives us the ability to monitor the work being performed by each user on each server.
Rolling back work if a developer makes a mistake is now a very easy task.
We also have the ability to shadow an employee or developer remotely, allowing us to conquer the language barriers we sometimes experience.
Another great feature is the managed firewall report which emails us daily summary of information on attacks and user access attempts.
To purchase these abilities for ourselves would be a very costly investment and SaSperBox allows us to achieve our goal for a fraction of the cost.
